So here are my top 5 hacks which may help you make you relationships healthier
So here are my top 5 hacks which may help you make you relationships healthier
1) FOLLOW THE THREE C'S
The three C's in a relationship are:
- COMMUNICATION
- COMPROMISE
- COMMITMENT
whether you are best friends, life partners or whatever. You need to keep talking to each other, keep the communication going. Listen to each other, communicate what you don't like in them and also listen to what they don't like in you and try to make yourselves better. The day your communication stops, IT'S ALL CURTAINS!
We need to accept the fact that no human being in this world is perfect. No two people are the same.
At some point in your relationship you and your partner will have a different
approach, opinion or wish. You need to compromise, you need to work a way out, you need to reach an understanding.
Commitment is equally important in relationships. Without
mutual commitment, deep trust will never take root.
2) PUT YOUR EGO ASIDE
Ego has a
role in spoiling many relationships. Ego can
ruin friendships and put a wedge between family members, too.
Ego is just
a three-letter word but it can destroy anything on its path including
relationships of all kinds. All people have it but only few has the courage and
strength to put it aside to save what is more important and meaningful.
It pushes people
away from you It stops you from growing. It blocks love from coming into your life.
It kills your happiness. It makes you critical and irrational.
"Ego is the only requirement to destroy any relationship. So be a bigger person, skip the E and GO"
3) KEEP USING THE GOLDEN WORDS
I disagree with people who are of the view that
"No sorry & no thank you in friendship"
I think each and every person likes being appreciated. When you go to a person and tell him how grateful you are for what he has been doing for you, Trust me, he'd be the happiest and of course, he would try to do even more for you!
These are the little acts of kindness which you need to adopt in every relationship.
4) HONESTY
“Honesty saves everyone’s time.”
Always speak the truth and you will be saved from a lot of complications. Honesty is
telling the truth. Honesty is
a key component of a healthy relationship, not only because it helps us avoid
harmful breaches of trust, but because it allows us to live in reality as
opposed to fantasy and to share this reality with someone else.
Being honest does not mean being rude, unkind, or
aggressive.
This would help develop TRUST which is the most important component in any relationship!
“Honesty is the fastest way to prevent a mistake from turning into a failure.”
5) KEEP A SMILE ON YOUR FACE
“A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.”
When you
give a warm and friendly smile, often others will smile back. You get a moment
of feeling connected and accepted, and you spread happiness. There are so many problems to which the only solution is "SMILE". You just look at your partner and smile and trust me, you'd make their day a million times better.
“Smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart.”see you as more trustworthy. You improve the impression you make on others and you come across as more likable. They will want to be around you and will see you as more competent. And you will tend to be more productive and creative.
“The world always looks brighter from behind a smile.”
